When it comes to sketching, most people probably draw the lines first before colouring. Urban Sketcher Mike Yoshiaki Daikubara likes to paint first before adding the lines. The sketches he creates are lively, expressive and often unpredictable.
In this book you'll get to learn how you can colour first and ink later. And it's actually not as difficult as it seems. There are many short step by step tutorials tackling different subjects to show the creative process.
This is certainly not a style for people who like to draw neatly and keep the colours within the lines. However if you want to try something different with your sketches, if you want to be more experimental, this can be a good book to get you started.
This 112-page paperback book is part of the Urban Sketching Handbook series.
